If you’ve read my blogs, you know that I have good intentions of blogging every Monday. Sometimes things happen in life that prevent us from obtaining goals as planned. Summers can get hectic with kids being home and schedules often don’t exist. Life situations can change. Sometimes illness puts plans on hold. One important thing I have learned throughout my journey is that life doesn’t always go as planned. And that’s OK. There are times that we have setbacks. It doesn’t mean that we give up. We can readjust. If you find that you’re often unable to achieve goals that you set, try reevaluating your goals to see if they are even attainable at this time. I often tell my clients that possibly smaller goals need to be met before you are able to achieve that one big goal. Being able to achieve these little goals can also give you the encouragement to keep working towards the bigger goal. (If you don’t have any goals in life, let’s get together. Goals are important to help keep us motivated and find our self-worth.)
And remember, setbacks happen. It’s OK to take a break when you need to. Listen to your body, rest when you need to. Then you can return even stronger!
Stay True!
